Roasted Cauliflower And A Butterfinger Blizzard

I was so proud of myself for making roasted cauliflower one night.
It was easy.
It was delicious.
We almost convinced ourselves that it was potatoes.
Almost.
About the time those plates were to end up in the dish washer, Bill suggested that we go around the corner to the Dairy Queen.

Butterfinger bits and vanilla ice cream

I'm ashamed to admit that he didn't have to work very hard to persuade me to hop in the truck.
"Lead me not into temptation."
We were so good at dinner, what would a little dessert hurt?
I got my usual which set up a craving that wasn't assuaged with just one trip to the DQ.

The Butterfinger Blizzard is easily made at home with Butterfinger bars and vanilla ice cream.
 You're welcome!
Please come back tomorrow for some exciting news and a fall project.
Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Yeah, my husband and I can be each others worst enemy sometimes when it comes to our diets. We love dessert and both of us feel like dinner isn't done until we've had something sweet. You might as well get back in the car and go or the urge just won't go away!

  2. Hi Katie,
Yum on the butterfinger and vanilla ice cream. One of my faves too. I am trying to hard to get off the sweets at night but it is hard. This looks so good. Have a great week.
    Hugs,

  3. I've never been a fan of butter-finger, even as a Simpsons fan the old commercials did nothing to convince me otherwise. My wife likes them though rarely gets them
