I get to stay home every Monday.
I love Monday morning when the whole day is before me and the list of things I can do is deliciously long.
I'm usually very productive on Monday mornings but in the afternoon I'm ready to snuggle in my favorite chair with the cat or the dog.
Our leather chairs have taken forever to get broken in.
I want to sink into a chair and feel like I'm resting on a cloud.
To get that broken in feeling sooner rather than later, I found the zipper and removed some of the stuffing.
I removed a pillows worth of stuffing from this thing.
I can always refill it should it get too flat and broken in.
We have had it 6 years so I don't see that happening any time soon.
I can't craft or lounge around this morning because I'm headed to the dentist.
I hate going to the dentist.
I love my dentist but I'd rather see her at the school or at the church rather than in her office but something funky is going on with one of my molars.
I noticed it last week.
Once I noticed it, I can't un-notice it.
My tongue keeps getting scratched on it.
I'm praying that I've lost one of my prehistoric fillings rather than have cracked a tooth.
I can only remember a hand full of times when I didn't have something wrong after a cleaning.
Which meant several trips back for crowns or fillings.
Oh please, just sedate me already!
I've known Dr. Solis for years because I had her precious children in my class but she has only been our dentist for 6 years or so.
We felt a little bad about leaving our old dentist but we had to make a change.
Do you think our old dentist wonders if our teeth are falling out?
He lives right around the corner from us which makes running into him a little awkward.
Dr. Solis manages pain better than any other dentist I've had.
All those years of painful visits have permanently scarred my psyche and I still get elevated blood pressure before going for a visit.
Why do they call it a visit?
A visit should involve tea or coffee and cookies.
This is the antithesis of that.
If you live in the DFW area she is wonderful.
Tell her I sent you.
Okay, send positive thoughts my way.
Have a blessed day.
I'll let you know what happens.
Don't forget my tip for "breaking in" new chairs.
I can't wait to get back this afternoon and lounge in mine.
