Going Out Of Business Haul

There is a little shop right down the block from the school.
It was the perfect little spot for a pop in.

I could always find cute florals, seasonal home accents and clothes on occasion
I was there just two weeks ago and they looked like they were gearing up for spring.

I stopped by last Friday and "Store Closing" was on the front of the store.
It was a craft mall for about 10 years when those were in vogue but it was a boutique mall for the last 10 or 11 years.
I've been shopping there a long time.

It was a perfect place to run in for a gift or a card.

One of the vendors always had the cutest handmade stuff.
Her pieces have appeared in many of my vignettes over the years.

I bought one of almost everything she had at 50% off

I gave them my email address so that they could let me know where she is moving-if she is moving.

I added the Old World Christmas mushroom to the little flower pot.

They always had a vast assortment of Raz Import's home accents as well.
I spent $90.00 total.

You will see many of these cute things re-appear as they get styled over the next three seasons.

I'm so sad that this shop is closing but I'm pleased with my haul.
Have a blessed day.

  3. It's always a disappointment when shop favorites close, but it looks like you made out quite well in the process. Very cute stuff!

  4. I'm glad you gave these treasures a good home!! Wonder why the shop is closing? I hope it's because the owner will be traveling and doing new adventures!! Or some other happy reason!

  6. We had the cutest shop locally called 'Mud Pie', I loved it and was so very sad when they closed. I'm glad that you were able to find some great pieces to add to your collection. Looking forward to seeing them in the seasons ahead! Blessings, Cindy

  7. Fortunately you stopped in before the store closed. Fingers crossed that your favorite vendor will have a space elsewhere. Losing a favorite shop is almost like having a good friend move far away. Enjoy your treasures!

  9. It's always fun to buy seasonal decor at rock bottom prices, but bittersweet when it's from a favorite shop that's closing its doors. I love the mama and baby prim kitties!
