Fall on the Little Shelf

We have this cute shelf in the living room.
I got it when I was going to go into business.
That didn't work out so well.
The shelf was leftover when it didn't sell.

It's a cute space to decorate for the different seasons and holidays.
Writing fall on my little chalkboard was one of the first things I did at the start of this new wonderful season.

The acorns came from eBay. I saw some on the Cabin & Cottage blog and had to hunt some down.
The galvanized leaf came from An Evening With Joanna Gaines last fall.

The kolanchoe plant has provided weeks and weeks of color.

Tea Leaf was my great, grand mother's everyday china pattern. These pieces didn't belong to her but I love them. I made the wooden box out of scraps from the garage.
The Post Office box came from Joanna Gaines' shop. My sister in law got it for me for my birthday. It is so cute!

Just a little fall vignette.
Thanks for stopping by.

  3. I love shelves in every shape and form and yours is no exception. You've got the perfect wall to hang it on and of course I love your green mailbox hanging next to it! I've fallen way behind on fall decorating and I'm hoping to find time in the next few days. Enjoy your cooler weather, Katie!

  4. Just bought a cute little shaker shelf at a garage sale today for $2. Though not as cute as yours, I plan to paint it white for the kitchen. On the back is a manufacturer's stamp with $49 marked on it. Got to love deals.
